Longtime local radio host Ken Calvert will retire from his morning show on classic rock station WCSX 94.7 FM on Dec. 20, station owner Greater Media Inc. said this morning. Calvert will continue to host a weekend show and write his "KC's Korner" for the station's website, Greater Media said in a statement.

- Mike Couchman is returning to Smile FM after a 10-year hiatus, He'll be handling filling-in duties the next few weeks on Sundays 3 - 7 p.m. and then settle in to do 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on weekends. Couchman was handling mornings at Cornerstone University's WaY FM in West Michigan until those stations switched to a simulcast of sister station WCSG-FM earlier this fall. He also was previously the Program Director at WLGH-FM 88.1 Lansing, which is now part of the Smile FM roster of stations.
Smile FM is heard on a number of stations throughout the state - a list of frequencies and cities at smile.fm.
