FOX Sports Detroit:
Every game on the Detroit Tigers' much-anticipated 2015 regular-season schedule will be televised, including 150 originated by FOX Sports Detroit, six games on FOX Sports 1 and two selected for the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week. Two (with potential for two more) games are on ESPN. FOX Sports Detroit's coverage of the Tigers, presented by Belle Tire, leads off with six spring training games, followed by the April 6 home opener against Minnesota.

The Downtown Hoedown is downsizing, from three days to two, and is heading to the Detroit riverfront. This year's festival -- June 5-6 at Detroit's West Riverfront Park at Jefferson Avenue and 10th Street, just west of the Riverfront Apartments and Joe Louis Arena -- will be headlined by Darius Rucker on June 5 and Rascal Flatts on June 6, event producers announced Thursday morning.

Midwest Communications now offers the urban music women in the Battle Creek area have been asking for, according to Troy Robertson. Robertson, or T-Rob, is the station brand manager and voice of The Touch. It's an urban adult contemporary radio station that has expanded its listening outreach from Kalamazoo to Battle Creek.
