Barrington Broadcasting has struck a deal with Raycom Media to purchase 12 stations across the country for a total of $262 million. Included in the sale are Michigan stations WLUC TV 6 Marquette, WBPN TV 7 Traverse City / WTOM TV 4 Cheboygan along with WNWO TV 24 Toledo, OH. All of the stations above are affiliates of NBC, the same network seen on current Barrington owned station WEYI TV 25 Saginaw. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
