University of Michigan media probe results in charges

The Detroit Free Press' web site this afternoon is reporting that felony embezzlement charges have been filed in Washtenaw County against three former staffers of Michigan Public Media, the umbrella organization that oversees radio stations WUOM-FM 91.7 Ann Arbor, WFUM-FM 91.1 Flint, WVGR-FM 104.1 Grand Rapids, and WFUM-TV 28 Flint along with Washtenaw-county based cable-TV outlet The Michigan Channel.

Charged are Michael Coleman, currently the general manager of public WDET-FM (101.9) Detroit, along with Jeremy Nordquist and Justin Ebright.
