To the surprise of almost no one in the radio business, Clear Channel's FM 106.7 went to country music at 3 p.m. Friday on the very weekend established CBS country power WYCD-FM (99.5) had its signature sponsorship event, the Downtown Hoedown... FM 106.7? Sounds like country now (Sat 5/20)


Wayne State University appears to be sticking with Michael Coleman, general manager of WDET-FM (101.9), after he pleaded no contest to a reduced embezzlement charge Thursday. "We are looking forward to continuing the momentum we are seeing at WDET under Michael's leadership," Louis Lessem, WSU's interim executive vice president, said in a statement after the court appearance...
