* The FCC has ruled to allow Rock WZUU FM 92.3 Allegan to change its frequency to 92.5 and change its community of license to Mattawan. WZUU Owner Forum Communications will also be allowed to change the COL of Oldies WQXC-FM 100.9 from Otsego to Allegan to preserve "first local service" to Allegan. The stations will have to file construction permits with the FCC to complete the changes. Read the FCC rulemaking
* Michigan Community Radio (aka Superior Communications) has been granted licenses to cover for two new stations, WJOG FM 91.3 Good Hart (near Petoskey) and WJOM FM 88.5 Eagle (west of Lansing). Superior Communications operates a network of Christian Contemporary stations across the state known as 'Smile FM'.
