* Urban WQHH FM 96.5 and Urban Oldies WXLA AM 1180 in the Lansing area are being acquired by MacDonald Broadcasting from Mid-Michigan FM for $3.65 million. MacDonald already owns Variety Hits WHZZ FM 101.7 and Adult Standards WILS AM 1320 in the market. The purchase would give MacDonald a larger cluster to compete against the larger station groups in Lansing owned by Citadel and Mid-Michigan Radio Group.
