Gary Allen, popular morning man veteran at WOOD-AM (1300), has been off the air for three weeks. He was in the hospital for nine days at Lacks Cancer Center after an open lung biopsy. It all started with a chronic dry cough last spring that got worse and worse ... For the third year in a row, ``KFR Morning Show'' co-host Glen was on a roof in Portage raising money to help victims of child abuse. And for the third year in a row, he got rained on. ``I grew up with loving parents. The least I can do is pay back the universe by doing this,'' said Shelly, the other half of Kalamazoo radio station WKFR's morning team, after wrapping up a broadcast segment from atop a South Westnedge Avenue building Wednesday night. ``If this can help raise money and raise awareness, then put me on a roof''...
