Lansing State Journal:

Bob Olson, an upbeat presence on WJXQ (106.1- FM) for 16 years, has left the station. The move was amicable, Dave Johnson, general manager of the Mid-Michigan Radio Group, said Wednesday. "Bob Olson is one of the greatest guys I've ever worked with." Olson agreed it was a friendly parting. "I've gone through four ownerships," he said. "This is the second building I've been in. I think I've had four or five general managers. And I've loved every minute of it." Now he's leaving to focus on his business doing voice work... Olson leaves WJXQ (Thu 8/10)
