WQLR-FM 106.5 Kalamazoo has changed its longtime Adult Contemporary format and is now featuring Variety Hits. Positioning has changed to '106.5 The Q, guaranteed music variety from over four decades of rock 'n roll'. WQLR is owned by Midwest Communications, which acquired the station along with news/talk WKZO AM 590 and sports WQSN AM 1660 from Fairfield Broadcasting earlier this year.
