It's been a long while since mid-Michigan viewers watched weather forecasts made "better looking" because a woman was delivering them. Decades of Saginaw Valley newswomen are applauding CBS news anchor Katie Couric as she makes broadcast history today as the first solo female anchor on a major network's prime-time newscast. A new face joins the early morning team Monday at Channel 5, WNEM -- meteorologist Mike Cameron. Jocelyn Connell, who has filled Mike Redford's slot on Weekday Wakeup, also officially joins the crew, which includes Erica Donerson, Angela Howard, Jay Brandow and Julie Banovic... Forecaster joins WNEM (Sat 9/9)
