Detroit Free Press:

Radio talk show host Laura Schlessinger has a lot to say, and she can still surprise you when she speaks. "Many, many, many years ago, I was inspired by Lily Tomlin and seeing her one-woman show 'The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe.' She was incredible, and it was enthralling, and I remember sitting there and thinking I'd like to do that someday," says the woman known as Dr. Laura on her nationally syndicated radio advice show... Expect surprises from Dr. Laura (Mon 9/11)

Looking for John Mason on WGPR-FM (107.5) this morning? You'd be better off looking for him (birth name: Ernest Wooten) this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Port Huron, where Radio One, his former employer at WDMK-FM (105.9), is seeking an injunction from Judge Lawrence Zatkoff to keep Mason off the air until January, when a 6-month noncompete clause in his nonrenewed contract expires... Radio One takes Mason to court (Tue 9/12)
