The always rambunctious Wendy Williams, who's syndicated on Detroit's WDMK-FM (105.9), will be holding court from 9 to 11 p.m. Monday at the Woodward Restaurant in downtown Detroit with the "Wendy Williams Experience Advice Hour." The diva will chat with listeners and answer questions they might have for her on any subject and yes, even talk about Whitney (Houston) getting mad at her on the air when she asked if she was doing drugs... Radio diva to dish some advice (Thu 9/28)
Mario Impemba, FSN Detroit play-by-play announcer of the Tigers, is a guy who appreciates baseball's past, present and future. He fell in love with baseball on the radio, thanks to growing up in Metro Detroit listening to Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey. Impemba decided to be like them, heading to the radio booth to broadcast baseball for a living. He eventually found his way to TV, but still has a soft spot for radio. Now, Impemba is going a step further, founding his own Web site -- thesoundofbaseball.com -- to showcase the art of broadcasting baseball on the radio... Love of radio hits the Web (Thu 9/28)
