Detroit News:

He's everywhere! It's a veritable Bob Seger -a-thon over at WCSX-FM (94.7) this week. At 1 p.m. today, Karen Savelly will play every track on "Face the Promise, " Seger's first new studio album in 11 years that's out Tuesday. Fans may call in at (313) 298-WCSX or go to the Seger Blog on wcsx.com to give their reviews. At 10 p.m. Tuesday, J.J. Johnson will host a 90-minute live radio special with the Detroit-born rocker, who will play tracks off "Face the Promise," talk about the recording of each song and answer questions called and e-mailed in to the station... WCSX gives Seger his time as new CD nears (Thu 9/7)

The Pistons plan to announce some personnel changes for their TV and radio broadcasts, but not much will change. Longtime FSN Detroit play-by-play man Fred McLeod has departed to take over as the Cleveland Cavaliers' TV presence. All indications are George Blaha will move full time to TV, doing games on FSN Detroit and TV20. Talks are in the final stages among FSN Detroit, Blaha and the Pistons. Mark Champion, who has been doing radio for the Pistons since 2001, will become the full-time radio voice... Blaha on TV full time? (Thu 9/7)
