CKWW AM 580 Windsor Detroit has adjusted its format from Gold-based Adult Contemporary to a more mainstream Oldies sound, featuring top hits from the 1950's and early 60's along with many of the songs the station was previously playing from the later 60's and 1970's.

Heavily featured is artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, The Platters, Ricky Nelson and rare oldies, as well as plenty of hometown artists from the Motown era. CKWW will continue to air specialty shows like “Elvis Only!”, “When Radio Was”, “The Sunday Morning Oldies Show” and “Sounds Of Sinatra”.

The station is now referring to itself as "Great Fun and Great Oldies" along with its previous slogan of "AM 580 Motor City Favorites".

The move by CKWW essentially "backfills" the Oldies format that has been gradually relinquished by WOMC-FM 104.3 which has shifted its format forward and no longer regularly features songs from late 50's and early 60's.
