Sports WVFN AM 730 Lansing is host to Mid-Michigan's only live, interactive outdoors radio program. AM Outdoors is hosted by 13 year Lansing radio veteran, Duran Martinez who brings his passion for all things outdoors to a new two hour radio show airing every Saturday from 8-10 AM.
Guests in the first weeks of the program have included Motor City Madman Ted Nugent and former front man for Grand Funk Railroad, Mark Farner. Both remain very active in the rock and roll world as well as the outdoors.
Experts in their field continue to add to the flavor of the show with tips to callers that you will not find on any outdoor television show. Martinez comments that "being interactive is the key and expert guests are the main ingredient".
