As fans we were all transfixed as Detroit Tigers pitcher Kenny Rogers threw those seven and two-thirds eerie, almost-perfect innings last Friday. But what's it like to be in the broadcast booth calling the game when an athlete such as Rogers is clearly in the zone, performing in a sort of alternative plane of reality?
