Frank Turner, the WXYZ-TV Channel 7 anchorman whose jovial personality pleased viewers while his tumultuous personal life caused strife with his bosses, has parted company with the station. Turner, who anchored the 5 and 7 p.m. newscasts, will now devote all his time to being a pastor, evangelist and Bible teacher for God's Amazing Grace Ministries. In a joint statement released Monday by Turner and WXYZ vice president and general manager Grace Gilchrist, Turner announced he would leave the station to pursue his ministry on a full-time basis...
