WRIF to send Tigers fan to Yankee Stadium

WRIFThe Rock WRIF-FM 101.1 morning show, Drew & Mike, will send one lucky winner and a guest to New York to see the Detroit Tigers take on The New York Yankees tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium for game one of the playoffs. The morning show duo will give the trip away through a Fast Pitch contest hosted by Milt Wilcox tomorrow at the WRIF studios, located at One Radio Plaza Detroit, MI 48220.

Throughout the show today, ten listeners were qualified on-air to join the morning show tomorrow, October 3 at 7am to participate in the contest. The contestant will either pitch themselves, or have their pre-selected “ringer” pitch for them. The contestant who has the fastest pitch in a series of two rounds will win a trip for two to New York that very evening to watch Detroit take on New York in game one, round one of the playoffs. The contestants are instructed to be packed when they arrive for the contest, as they will be off to the airport immediately with their guest for their flight to New York.
