With only hours to go before Black Friday's shopping tsunami, AM/FM radio programmers hope that you'll look past all those cheap toaster ovens and flat-screen TVs to see that a new HD (high definition) radio model made by Accurian is going on sale at Radio Shack for $99. Normally the Accurian HD tabletop digital radio costs $199, but it will be available at Radio Shack stores as well as online at radioshack.com at the lower price (after a mail-in rebate) for just three days, Friday through Sunday... HD radios are half-price this weekend (Thu 11/23)

Gathering: Toys for WDVD-FM's (96.3) "Stuff a Bus" project. Morning host Blaine Fowler will broadcast live from 5:30 a.m. Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m. from a bus at Micro Center on 14 Mile, opposite Oakland Mall. Afternoon host Jesse will do the same at Parkway Chrysler Jeep on Hall Road in Clinton Township. Various local charities will get the gifts... Names and Faces (Thu 11/23)
