It's beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving at best, but one Detroit radio station has gone all-Christmas anyway. WNIC-FM (100.3) has been flooding the airwaves with mistletoe, peppermint sticks and songs such as "O Holy Night" since Friday (we even heard Bob Seger's "Little Drummer Boy" on Sunday). A jury has found a man guilty but mentally ill on an attempted murder charge for shooting a former WDIV-TV employee in the entryway to the NBC affiliate's downtown office. Epifanio Rivas Jr., 27, of Detroit also was found guilty Wednesday of using a firearm in a felony in the April 15, 2005, shooting of John Owens. The jury rejected Rivas' claim that he was insane at the time. Wayne County Circuit Judge James Callahan said he would sentence Rivas Nov. 21... Man convicted in shooting at WDIV (Thu 11/9)
