David Schwartz remembers his friends' skepticism when they found out he was moving to Flint to become general manager of Flint Fox affiliate WSMH (Channel 66). "I moved here 2 1/2 years ago from Orlando, which is a booming marketplace. The antithesis of that was in this market," he explained. Jenna Sedlow of Flint took home top honors in the Mid-Michigan Idol finals Saturday at the Fox66 Bringing It Home festival at Perani Arena. Sedlow, a country singer who performed a Faith Hill song, will get an all-expenses-paid trip and a guaranteed audition for next season's "American Idol." She was one of 125 singers who auditioned over a two-week period at Courtland Center. Five finalists were chosen each week to compete in Saturday's final, which was sponsored by local Fox affiliate WSMH (Channel 66)...
