Radio Format Changes: April 2006 Archives

* WNBY-FM 93.7 Newberry announced plans to change the station's format this week from Adult Contemporary to Oldies as well as change the station's frequency from 93.7 to 93.9, broadcasting from a new tower located east of Newberry in Chippewa County. The new facility will broadcast with 50,000 watts @ 463 feet at 93.9 as compared to to 6,000 watts @ 262 feet on 93.7.

New EUP radio station caters to Baby Boomers (Soo Evening News, Sat 4/8)

 

* WBMI FM 105.5 West Branch has flipped its format from Oldies to Classic Country. The change happened earlier this week.
