• The construction permit for WMSQ FM 89.3 Marlette has expired and been canceled by the FCC. The call sign WMSQ has been removed from the FCC database. The holder of the permit, Great Lakes Community Broadcasting, was denied a request to extend the amount of time to finish building the station.

• Spring Arbor University has been granted its license for an FM translator of Adult Contemporary WSAE FM 106.9 Spring Arbor at 97.1 Coldwater (W246AU).

• The FCC has reinstated the major change application of WOAP AM 1080 Owosso to move to the Lansing area (community of license would be Waverly) and increase daytime power to 50,000 watts. The station has withdrawn its application for nighttime operations.

• Contemporary Christian WTRK FM 89.1 Bay City has been granted a modification to its construction permit to increase the ERP from 25,000 watts @ 370 feet to 50,000 watts @ 370 feet (vertical polarization). The new pattern remains directional.

• Horizon Christian Fellowship is acquiring the construction permit for FM translator W286AW 105.1 Dowagiac for $7,433 from Edgewater Broadcasting pending FCC approval and closing.

• Horizon Christian Fellowship is acquiring the construction permits for FM translators W223AM 92.5 Bronson, W227AU 93.3 Ludington, and W243BA 96.5 Big Rapids for $6336 each from Radio Assist Ministry pending FCC approval and closing.

• The FCC granted the assignment of construction permits for FM translators K237DB 95.3 Hudsonville and W279BG 103.7 Battle Creek from Edgewater Broadcasting to Horizon Christian Fellowship and the assignment of W295AK 106.9 Three Rivers from Radio Assist Ministry to Horizon.

• Religious WTCK-FM 90.9 Charlevoix has been sold for $130,000 by Broadcasting for the Challenged to Baraga Broadcasting pending FCC approval and closing. Baraga is already operating the station under a time brokerage agreement and will likely continue to program Catholic programming, primarily from EWTN.
