The regular season telecast schedule begins with both FSN and FOX 2 carrying the April 2 Opening Day festivities as the Tigers host the Toronto Blue Jays. The game is being simulcast so that all television viewers in metro Detroit can watch as the Tigers make their debut as defending American League champion. Both outlets plan extensive pre- and postgame Opening Day coverage.
FSN Detroit, entering its 10th season of Tigers coverage, will produce all games airing on FSN and FOX 2 with the Emmy-winning announcing team of play-by-play man Mario Impemba (sixth season) and analyst Rod Allen (fifth).
