You may have noticed that it's cold outside. Extremely cold. Excessively cold. Egregiously cold, even. How cold, Sonny Eliot?"It's colder," he says, "than a former wife's hello."

A simple thermometer can give you the exact reading. A TV meteorologist will gladly quote you the wind-chill factor, even if that's a thunderously incorrect term. For the proper perspective, though, the man to see is Eliot, who's weathered the highs and lows on WWJ-AM (950) for 60 years.
