• WCUZ FM 100.1 Bear Lake has been granted a construction permit granted to change its effective radiated power from 3,000 watts @ 328 feet to 3,800 watts @ 413 feet from a new transmitter/antenna location further north in Mansitee county.

• Northern Radio's translator of WFDX FM 92.5 licensed to Boyne City was granted its license to cover for a frequency change from 95.5 to 95.3.

• CBS has agreed to sell Green Bay's WFRV-TV Channel 5 along with WJMN-TV 3 Escanaba to Liberty Media in a complex agreement that results in essentially a tax-free exchange. Liberty will return $64 million worth of CBS stock (7,591,249 shares) along with $170 million in cash in exchange for the licenses of WFRV and WJMN.
