Grand Rapids Press:

Jim Lutton, WWMT-TV 3 vice president and general manager, sounded like a man who had just matched the winning Lotto numbers upon learning he'd acquired the local telecast rights to Detroit Tigers contests this season. Lutton, on the job since November, has secured the rights to 17 telecasts involving the Tigers, who advanced to the World Series last season. The secondary package, which is being produced and distributed by FSN Detroit, includes a pair of games scheduled to air on the local CBS affiliate and 15 more set to air on the CW affiliate, which is a WWMT sister station in the West Michigan market... Tigers find home on WWMT, CW (Fri, 2/23)

Diane Rehm, host of a popular National Public Radio talk show that attracts the world's top newsmakers, will give a free public lecture at Western Michigan University on March 13. Rehm's talk will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the East Ballroom of the Bernhard Center... NPR talk-show host Diane Rehm to speak at WMU (Fri, 2/23)
