FSN goes the distance with "Tigers 36-inning Marathon"

FSNThe much-anticipated return of the defending American League champion Detroit Tigers will be celebrated April 1-2 on FSN Detroit with a day and a half of continuous team-related programming titled the "Tigers 36-Inning Marathon."

The marathon includes encore presentations of six games from the 2006 postseason, previously-aired and an original installment of Tigers subjects profiled on the documentary series Spotlight and a live one-hour show from Comerica Park on the eve of the season opener. The 36-Inning Marathon culminates with live and encore coverage of the Tigers opening day game against the Toronto Blue Jays and the premiere of the network's Tigers Live pre- and postgame shows.

The Tigers 36-Inning Marathon – and all of FSN Detroit's Tigers programming – goes to 3.2 million cable and satellite households throughout Michigan and portions of Northwest Ohio and Northern Indiana. In 2007, FSN Detroit is scheduled to devote nearly 600 hours of Tigers related programming, including a record 134 regular season games, 60 of which are delivered in high-definition on FSN HD.
