Brian Cowan adds role of program director for WTKA to responsibilities in Ann Arbor

Brian Cowan has been named as program director of Sports Talk 1050 WTKA effective immediately, adding to his duties at Ann Arbor Radio. Cowan’s other responsibilities include W4 Country (102.9 FM) morning show host for “Breakfast with Bubba”; W4 music director and W4 program director.

According to Ann Arbor Radio General Manager, Bob Bolak, the promotion is well-deserved. “Brian has done an excellent job taking 102.9 W4 Country to the top of Ann Arbor’s adult Arbitron ratings ranking. He understands that our mission is to focus on Ann Arbor and create content with high entertainment value. Brian has done just that for our company and will help WTKA continue to grow as Ann Arbor’s #1 sports brand.”
