WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) earned bragging rights for its overall rankings in the February Sweeps ratings race, but WDIV (Channel 4) still retains the No. 1 title for its 11 p.m. newscast and WJBK (Channel 2) remains No. 1 in the mornings. In all, WXYZ garnered a 5.4 rating over WDIV's 4.4 rating, WJBK's 3.7 rating and WWJ-TV's (Channel 62) 2.7 rating. Each rating point represents 19,440 local viewers. The station was tops for its newscasts at noon, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m... Channel 7 wins overall sweeps race (Sat, 3/3)
