Starting Monday, March 12th on Oldies CKWW AM 580, the station's Morning Mystery Oldie Contest will feature “Supreme Diva Week” with a chance for listeners to see Motown diva Diana Ross.
Each weekday morning at 8:20, host Charlie O'Brien will play a clip from a Diana Ross song. It could be one of her hits with the Supremes or her later solo work. The first person to correctly name that tune will win a pair of tickets to see Diana Ross at the Palace of Auburn Hills on April 16th, and get her newest CD “I Love You”, and a Supremes greatest hits CD. Winners are then qualified for the Grand Prize: we’ll pamper you like a “diva” with a spa package at Mystique Day Spa in Dearborn and a weekend trip for two to Toronto including first class transportation aboard VIA Rail and deluxe hotel accommodations.
The contest runs for two weeks with the grand prize draw on March 23rd.
Soft Rock WMGC-FM, Magic 105.1, has announced the station's “Magic Bowling Party” will take place on Saturday, March 31st at Sterling Lanes on Schoenherr Road in Sterling Heights.
