You can count Rolonda Watts among LaKisha Jones' fans. Watts, whose syndicated "The Rolonda Show" airs from noon-3 p.m. weekdays on WOWE-FM (98.9), fell in love with the Flint singer after her rousing performance of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" last week on "American Idol." Watts is based in Los Angeles but was tipped by a friend in Washington, D.C., who'd seen that Feb. 21 show... Radio host becomes a LaKisha lover (Fri, 3/2)

A radio special Saturday will focus on the impact the late Robert Busby had on local music. "Jazz 'til Midnight" (8 p.m. to midnight on WKAR-FM 90.5) is usually taped in advance by host Doug Collar. This time, however, there will be a live special, discussing the ways Busby's Creole Gallery boosted music. Collar will be joined by WKAR's Dan Bayer, Jim Alfredson (of Organissimo), Freddie Cunningham (of Root Doctor) and Rodney Whitaker, the head of the Michigan State University jazz program... Media personality Chris Holman will leave his weekday morning radio show at the end of June. Holman, also publisher of Greater Lansing Business Monthly, said today he will continue his new weekly "Michigan Business Beat" syndicated radio show and "Business Today" television show on WILX-TV. Holman has anchored the morning show on WILS (1320-AM) since 2005. He previously anchored a morning show on WJIM (1240-AM) since 1993... Holman giving up weekday radio show (Thu, 3/1)
