• A translator for Contemporary Christian "K-Love" in Detroit has been granted a modification to its construction permit to specify FM 88.3 instead of 99.1. The CP specifies 40 watts with a directional antenna directed southwest from near Jefferson and Mt. Elliott.
• The Home FM (106.9 Spring Arbor) translator in Battle Creek was granted its license to cover to change frequency to 92.3 as W222BB from 92.5 (W223AE). The station also increased power from 80 to 120 watts.
• The FCC approved the sale of Green Bay's WFRV-TV Channel 5 along with WJMN-TV 3 Escanaba to Liberty Media from CBS TV. The complex sales agreement results in essentially a tax-free exchange with Liberty returning $64 million worth of CBS stock (7,591,249 shares) along with $170 million in cash in exchange for the licenses of WFRV and WJMN.
