• Two radio more Michigan radio stations have been served with Notices of Apparent Liability by the FCC for late license renewal applications and unauthorized operations. Adrian College's WVAC-FM 107.9 Adrian and Grace Baptist Church's WBLW FM 88.1 were both served with NAL's in the amount of $7,000 for the transgressions. Both stations were also granted their license renewals, despite the fines.

• Adult Urban WDZZ-FM 92.7 Flint was granted a construction permit to increase its effective radiated power from 3,000 watts @ 256 feet to 3,000 watts @ 328 feet from a location about a mile north of where the station currently broadcasts from.
• Larry Langford, Jr is purchasing WDOW AM 1440 Dowagiac from LeSea Broadcasting for $90,001 pending FCC approvals and closing. Langford also owns Oldies WGTO AM 910 Cassopolis and had commented in a local newspaper earlier in the year that he was considering using WDOW AM to expand the coverage of WGTO's programming. LeSea maintains ownership of WHPD FM 92.1 Dowagiac, the former WDOW-FM, which carries Contemporary Christan programming from LeSea's WHPZ FM 96.9 Bemen, Indiana.
