Northern Michigan: Newsmakers April 5, 2007

Mark Elliot Exits Traverse City For Evansville:
After three years on the frozen tundra of Northern MICHIGAN, NORTHERN BROADCASTING Classic Hits WFCX-WFDX (THE FOX)/TRAVERSE CITY PD MARK ELLIOT makes the not so giant leap south to SOUTH CENTRAL AC WIKY/EVANSVILLE as PD/afternooner. "I'm so grateful to CHARLIE FERGUSON and the folks in TRAVERSE CITY for the chance they gave me with THE FOX FM. It's a great station and I know it will continue to succeed. And now I'm just as grateful to be handed the reins to the number one station in Southern INDIANA. There is a talented crew all ready in the building at WIKY, all I have to do is make sure I don't screw it up." Back at THE FOX, TODD MARTIN is named PD, adding to his duties as PD of sister AC station WSRT. (Thu, 4/5)
