The upcoming Detroit Red Wings / San Jose Sharks second round National Hockey League playoff series will be carried by national networks Versus and NBC, with FSN Detroit limited to coverage of games 3, and if necessary 6 and 7. Games 2 and 5 will be featured on NBC with Versus claiming exclusive coverage of games 1 and 4, shutting FSN Detroit out of the picture. With Canadian broadcaster CBC not scheduled to carry any of the Western Conference series between the Wings and Sharks, fans without Versus on their cable or satellite system will likely be searching for an alternative place to catch games one and four.
FSN Detroit has announced that the Tigers-Orioles baseball game on Monday, April 30th will move to FSN Plus to clear FSN for that night's Wings/Sharks game three in San Jose.
