Meringue and salsa don't just mean foods to me anymore. Now, they conjure up images of a group of dedicated professional and amateur dancers getting ready for the local benefit called WZZM 13 Dance Off. The event begins at 8 p.m. May 18 at the Crowne Plaza Grand Rapids, 5700 28th St. SE. Tickets are $25 and available at wzzm13.com. Proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. WZZM-TV (Channel 13) will air a special at 7 p.m. May 22, and the "Take Five" program will feature behind-the-scenes footage May 14-18... Dance Off benefit/contest keeps media on toes (Sun, 4/29)
