News-talk WJR-AM (760) and morning host Paul W. Smith continue what's become an annual tradition with remote broadcasts across Michigan to showcase some of the state's great cities and tourist locations. The first broadcast was this morning from the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Tomorrow from 5:30 - 9 AM, Smith will be at the Sugar Beach Resort in Traverse City and on Friday the show will originate from the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth.
In addition to highlighting these popular travel destinations, Smith will also talk to local business and government leaders in each city.
The past four months have been a process of trial and error for Juliet Huddy and Mike Jerrick. If their names don't ring a bell, chances are they could in a month or two. That's because the hosts of Fox's "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," which airs locally 9 a.m. weekdays on WJBK-TV (Channel 2), are starting to get noticed. In Metro Detroit, for instance, viewership among women 25-54 has increased from a 1.6 rating in January to 2.0 rating in March... Fox's 'Morning Show' rating is up (Wed, 5/9)
