Sales and Transactions: Week of May 18, 2007

• 3 Angels Broadcasting was granted a construction permit to move its LPTV station W46CR Saginaw-Midland to channel 42 as W42DI. The transmitter for the station would move to just east of Midland and its directional signal would give the city of Midland better coverage than when the station operated on channel 46. The station's move was made necessary with the sign on of WBSF channel 46 licensed to Bay City.

• Dean M. Mosely was granted a construction permit for a new LPTV station to be licensed to Marquette on channel 45 as W45CY.

• Rockfleet Broadcasting was granted a construction permit for a new LPTV/translator station to be licensed to Pickford on channel 43 as W43CM. Rockfleet, which is currently in the process of being sold, owns and operates FOX affiliate WFQX-TV 33 Cadillac and has been operating a translator near Pickford on channel 64 under special temporary authority from the FCC for several years. W43CM will essentially replace channel 64.

• Langford Broadcasting closed on the purchase of WDOW AM 1440 Dowagiac from LeSea Broadcasting.
