Grand Rapids Press:

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and WOTV-TV (Channel 41) are teaming up for the 18th annual Celebration Telethon broadcasting live from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. WOTV and WOOD-TV (Channel 8) personalities Maranda, Eva Aguirre Cooper and meteorologists Bill Steffen and Terri DeBoer will host the Celebration. They will be joined by radio partners, Gary Allen of WOOD-AM (1300) and Steve and Sabrina of WOOD-FM ( 105.7)... Telethon benefits hospital (Sun, 6/3)

Rumors abound concerning the possible sale of WOOD, WOTV and WXSP-TV, which are owned and operated by LIN TV Corp. Courtney Guertin, public relations specialist for LIN, said they're all just rumors at the moment... Still just rumors (Sun, 6/3)

Susan Samples, former reporter for WOOD-TV, was spotted back on the air waves last week. Patti McGettigan, the station's news director, clarified Samples' on-air return... Pressed into service (Sun, 6/3)

Kristi Andersen, education reporter and weekend morning co-anchor for WOOD-TV, is moving to another broadcast market... Andersen moves on (Sun, 6/3)
