Delta College’s Channel 19 has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission to reduce the power of its aging analog transmitter in order to continue analog broadcast through February 2009. Most Q-TV viewers receive Delta’s public broadcasting programs through cable, satellite or over-the-air digital services and will not be affected by the change, according to a press release send by the college. Delta’s Q-TV to decrease signal power (Mon, 7/2)

As a TV antenna installer here in Michigan I can report Delta's Q-TV digital signal is very good. We have received it at our installs as far as Dewitt, 2 miles South of Greenville and as far West as Barryton. It may carry farther that remains to be seen. Also, it appears FOX channel 66 from the Flint area is putting out a superior digital signal when compared to there analog transmission.
