Grand Rapids Press:

West Michigan radio stations are raising funds to support slain Grand Rapids Police Officer Robert Kozminski's 3-year-old daughter, Kailey Ann. WBCT-FM (B-93) raised $12,000 at a party held July 12 after the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw concert. The multitalented couple donated $5,000. WGRD's (97.9) "Free Beer and Hot Wings " morning show teamed up with the Whitecaps during a live remote at a recent baseball game. "The event went very well. We raised a little over $3,000 for Kailey through the Thin Blue Line, a nonprofit organization that assists and supports the families of injured or deceased officers of law enforcement agencies in Michigan," said Nicole Havener, director of promotions for Regent Broadcasting. WLHT-FM (95.7), First Responders Fund and LaSalle Bank are working together for the next 25 days, hoping to raise $10,000 for the immediate needs of the Kozminski family... Stations pitch in for slain officer's daughter (Sun, 7/22)
