Ann Arbor News:

There's good news for two locally based commercial radio stations that saw their rankings improve in the latest Arbitron radio ratings. Although Detroit talk powerhouse WJR (760 AM) continues at the top spot overall in the Ann Arbor market, country station WWWW (102.9 FM), third in the last ratings period, placed second, while WQKL (107.1 FM), which had been fourth, is now third. In the all-important age 25-54 group, the station ranks first. Lower down in the ratings, all-sports station WTKA and liberal talk WLBY-AM both decreased their audience shares, while news-talk WAAM held steady. Ratings for public radio's WUOM and WEMU are not included in the report... WWWW, WQKL ratings improve (Sun, 8/12)
