Grand Rapids Press:
Brett Muller doesn't remember every detail from the first high school football game he called on the radio. He knows it was during his freshman year at Central Michigan University and involved Shepherd and Central Montcalm. But he's not sure who won or what the final score was. "I remember being so nervous I could barely speak," Muller said. "I was just trying to get my wits about me." Since that first game, Muller has managed to control his nerves. Muller, 33, will begin his 15th year in the radio business, including the past nine at WBBL-AM (1340). Muller once again will serve as color commentator for WBBL's "Game of the Week" telecasts, which opens with tonight's East Grand Rapids-Ottawa Hills game at Houseman Field. He'll team up for the fourth consecutive season with play-by-play announcer Bret Bakita. The pair also produces a one-hour high school football show called "Power Hour" from 6 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday... Radio guys Bakita, Muller team up again (Fri, 8/24)
