Smile FM continues work on Tri-Cities upgrade

Contemporary Christian WEJC-FM 88.3 White Star/Midland completed phase 2 of its upgrade project on Friday when the installation of its newly rebuilt antenna system was placed into service at its new location north of Auburn. The station continues to operate at reduced power while its transmitter is being rebuilt, something that may take several more weeks to complete. When the upgrades are completed, WEJC will provide a much better signal to the Bay City/Saginaw/Midland area compared to when the station transmitted from near Gladwin.
