WEMU looks for pledge drive helpers (Sun, 10/14)

Detroit News:

This was the first weekend where not having the Big Ten network hurt. In fact, it stunk. I did not get to see Michigan finally put together a great game, whipping Purdue, 48-21. And I was forced to leave the house to watch Michigan State's easy 52-27 victory over Indiana. These were both big games and mental hurdles for both teams. The Wolverines have a pulse and we no longer have to sing the "Same Old Spartans" song. However, how many people actually got to witness turning points for both teams? There were very few. This was the first time I was unable to see a significant game featuring the Wolverines and Spartans on television and it is not right... Big Ten TV situation finally upsetting (Sun, 10/14)
