Lansing State Journal:
Jason Colthorp, the homegrown TV anchor, will switch stations soon. He won't have to do any packing, though. The move - from WSYM to WILX - will be within the same building. "He's always been a WILX employee," said Kevin Ragan, the station's news director. WSYM, a Fox affiliate, contracts with NBC affiliate WILX for its 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts. The shifts, which begin March 3, are: Colthorp will co-anchor the 11 p.m. WILX newscast with Adela Uchida; David Andrews, who currently co-anchors at 11 p.m., will stick to a 5 p.m. solo gig and a 6 p.m. broadcast with Uchida...
