Ann Arbor News:

More music and less talk appears to be the plan at WEMU (89.1 FM), Eastern Michigan University's public radio station. WEMU has expanded its weeknight jazz program, "89.1 Jazz'' with Evelynn Hawkins, to five nights a week from four and added an hour to the show, dropping the talk program "Fair Game.'' The Monday evening Latin programs "Cuban Fantasy'' and "Brazilian Sol'' move to Saturday night. The change takes effect Monday. Other changes include dropping NPR's "Fresh Air'' weekdays at noon in favor of more jazz; "89.1 Jazz with Linda Yohn'' will now run until 12:30 p.m.; and "89.1 Jazz with Michael Jewett'' will run from 12:30 p.m.-4 p.m. The "Lynn Rivers Show'' will move to Mondays at 8 a.m. beginning Feb. 25. (There will be no "Lynn Rivers Show'' this week) ... Congratulations to WKQL (107.1 FM)'s morning host, Martin Bandyke. Thursday marks the 25th anniversary of his start as a radio host... On The Air: More music on WEMU lineup (Sun, 2/17)
