Detroit Free Press:

Tonight's Pistons/San Antonio game isn't your run-of-the-mill, late-season NBA game. It marks the first time in Detroit sports history that a team will devote an entire day to a charity telethon. Take that, Jerry Lewis! The Pistons Cares Telethon Benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Michigan Chapter, is working toward its goal of granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. The telethon will run throughout the day and into the evening as the Pistons host the Spurs at 8 p.m. Fans can call in their donations to 877-372-9474 starting at 6 a.m. or they can go to www.pistons.com and click on the "DONATE NOW" button... Names and Faces (Fri, 3/14)
